Climbing In the Green Mountain State

As of now there are no public climbing guides published specifically for the state of Vermont. Unless you want to count the inaccurate Vermont section in "New England Bouldering" published four years ago. These few pages of boulders are misleading to the quantity and quality of climbing found throughout the state.

The purpose of this online resource would be to locate, map, and describe local crags. Along with community overviews; local restuarants, camp sites, hotels or hostels, and gear shops. The advantage to an online guide is having the ability to display the most recent news in Vermont climbing, along with the advantage of being free. Another advantage to the online experience is it opens doors to communication.

Before launching Climb Vermont, it would be good to collect the opinions, thoughts, and ideas from the local climbing community. What do you guys think? The outcome of this site will be based on the comments below.
